: The Indian Railways Institute of Signal Engineering & Telecommunications (Iriset) in Tarnaka is set to celebrate its 67th anniversary on November 24. One of the eight centralised training institutes of the Indian Railways, specialising in training personnel in railway signalling and telecommunications, Iriset houses all varieties of signalling and telecommunication systems under a single roof. Since its inception, the institute has trained 1,12,842 railway personnel and 332 from other countries.
The annual day event on November 24 will feature a keynote address, addresses by top management, distribution of awards to meritorious trainees, and the release of a technical magazine..
