IRELAND AM host Eric Roberts looked "handsome" as he posed alongside his wife in wedding snaps that left fans gushing. The Donegal native has had a buys few weeks as he announced his wife Niamh is pregnant with their first child and he filled in for Deric Hartigan on Ireland AM . Last week, Eric attended a friend's wedding and after the ceremony took to Instagram to share some snaps from the day.
The popular presenter looked happier than ever as he and his wife were all smiles in a cute selfie they took before heading off to the ceremony. The happy couple also huddled in close for a snap with the bride who stunned in her elegant wedding dress and veil. Eric looked dapper while wearing a tweed blazer and tied his look together with a white shirt and a colourful floral tie.
While Niamh stunned in a gorgeous layered red dress that featured a flattering v-neck line. The red frock is from Dunnes Stores' Savida line and retails on the site for €45. The dad-to-be seemed to loosen up a bit as he donned a pair of comedically over sized green sun glasses and his partner joined in the merry as she picked up a pair of guitar shaped sunnies.
Eric captioned his post: "Congratulations to the happy couple." Friends and fans raced to the presenter's comment section to gush over his wife's show stealing dress. Elaine commented: "Niamh’s red dress is absolutely fabulous on her!" Clare wrote: "Beautiful couple Eric! Love your wife’s dress.
Congratulations to the married couple." Another fan added: "Your wife is stunning red her colour handsome looking couple." Last week, Eric took to Instagram to share the moment he told his family his wife, Niamh was expecting their first child.
The presenter set up his phone in front of his family, making it seem like he was getting a picture of them all. Once everyone was in position for the photo to be taken, he told them all to say "Niamh's pregnant". Most of the family members obliged without realising what he had said.
Once the remark sank, the family were reduced to a plethora of different emotions. Some reacted with looks of pure shock, others joy and some nearly brought to tears, but overall everyone was delighted for the happy couple. Eric's friends and fans raced to his comment section to gush over the super creative baby reveal.
Family member Patrick Browne commented: "I actually shouted 'Niamh’s pregnant' like an idiot and then realised that’s how he was announcing it. "Lots of sobbing in the background after. I’ll never forget this day.
