N estled in Suffolk, close to the Southwold coast and framed by picturesque countryside, is a sprawling farm that might just be your next holiday destination. It is also where Gem Bon-Scherdel, 42, a former director of Soho House, and her husband, Thom, 35, a fashion consultant, live, having packed up their lives in London a year ago to replace the East End with rural renovations and Prada with pig-feeding. “I’m cleansed of all my designer needs and live in Carhartt and Hunters now,” she says, beaming.
