According to industry experts, it is now all but certain that the coming-of-age film will be the best-performing movie of 2024, in what is proving to be a lucrative year for the cinema industry. Industry watchdogs have predicted that a string of upcoming releases — including Gladiator II in November, with Irish star Paul Mescal — will help secure another bumper year for the big screen.
