The actress, 50, spent weeks in hospital with a stress-related tear in her oesophagus after her stepfather, Roy Battersby, died and her mother, Judy developed cancer . Having made a full recovery, Kate looked a picture of health in her latest Instagram post as she reflected on her time in Mexico with her beloved mum.
The pair enjoyed a stay at SHA Wellness Clinic Mexico, with Kate explaining that she wanted to take her mother to a place that promotes holistic wellness while she continues to help her through her battle with cancer. Kate looked radiant in the snaps as she posed alongside Judy on the balcony of their resort - where a four-day stay costs $2,600 and includes a personalised diet plan and health plan, natural therapies and technological treatments and courses to learn new lifestyle habits. Kate also gave a look at the spa features inside the resort, which aims to combine techniques and therapies from both scientific and natural medicine to 'help people to live longer and better.

After sharing a video clip in a crop top and bikini bottoms, one follower queried where her 'a**' had gone and encouraged Kate to 'do some squats'. Another claimed her body had 'shrank' while another insisted that she 'seemed upset' in the video posted on Monday evening. However, Kate fired back at the cruel comments ands explained that there were several reasons for her changed figure, including a six-week hospital stint.
In December, her stepfather Roy was hospitalised in Los Angeles after suffering 'a massive stroke' while battling two forms of cancer.
