Listen to Story An old TikTok video of a social media influencer has gone viral on X in which she was seen cleaning an abandoned grave for “free” at night because she believes “everyone deserves a beautiful resting place.” The influencer, who goes by the username ‘Clean Girl’ on TikTok, had posted the video earlier this year but it resurfaced after it was shared by an X account - ‘Internet Hall of Fame’ – on July 22. As the 45-second clip garnered over 30 million views on X, it triggered a discussion on the social media platform, with several sections slamming the influencer’s act.

“Things people would do for clicks and money,” a user said. Several others called it “mad disrespectful”. In the video, the woman was seen cleaning dirt with the help of a shovel from around a gravestone.

Surprisingly, however, she continued the process of cleaning with a sponge and a bubble-gum pink spray cleaner. “I am at the graveyard at night,” she said in the video, adding, “How did this grave get so dirty?” As she polished the tombstone, she began reflecting upon the grave’s occupant. “Her name is Bienvenida.

Wow - her name means ‘welcome’ in Espanol. She died on July 23, 1980. Her star sign was Aries.

My best friend was an Aries. I wonder what Bienvenida’s life was like?” What happened next was rather bizarre as she questioned all of a sudden: “Does she like chocolate cupcakes?” The woman decided to clean up the grave without seeking permission, the New York Post reports. twitter.com/766mtxfxoO — internet hall of fame (@InternetH0F) July 21, 2024 It is true that the video has garnered millions of views but several users found it “creepy”. Some viewers also noted that it isn’t quite right to meddle with “someone else’s grave” without the permission of their family.

Others had an issue with the word “free” used by the social media influencer as some people said that if that was the case, she wouldn’t be posting about it. However, several users also found the video “satisfying”. “This was oddly satisfying.

May her memory be eternal," a comment on the post reads. “I have a lot of respect for her cleaning graves, even though she's making money doing, that's not a bad thing, she'll be able to continue to do this. I'm sure the deceased are happy with it,” another user said.

This particular video had clocked more than 19 million views after it was posted by the ‘Clean Girl’ on TikTok in March..
