An Australian influencer has shared his frightening New Year's Eve experience which almost ended in tragedy. Mitchell Orval said he was celebrating a friend's birthday on Tuesday at the Sanctuary Cove resort on the Gold Coast with his fiancée Chloe Szepanowski when she had to spring into action. The 28-year-old said some children approached the couple carrying an unconscious young girl who they said had drowned.

"Yesterday, we had the scariest end to 2024," he wrote on Instagram stories. "We were sitting by the pool when two young kids (10-12 years old max) came walking over carrying a 3-year-old girl saying from the pool she had drowned. "@chloeszep ran over and grabbed her, started smacking her on her back, she was blue - completely unconscious.

" Mitchell said professional boxer Casey Caswell also stepped in to help rescue the girl and, with his aid, she vomited five times. "We called an ambulance, and she was in and out of consciousness for the next 15 minutes," he said. The influencer said the girl was now "okay" and warned people about the dangers of children being around water.

"She was wearing a swim jacket and apparently took it off!" he said. "If you're reading this - never take your eyes off your kids in the pool, especially in big groups of people. "Never assume someone is watching your kid.

Thank God it ended the way it did." Shortly after her fiancée's post, Chloe thanked the children who had brought the girl to them. "Praise to God! And all the angels he pla.
