Wednesday, August 28, 2024 IndiGo , India’s leading airline, is set to introduce daily non-stop flights from Bengaluru to Jeddah starting September 30, 2024. This new service caters to a diverse range of travelers, including those traveling for business, leisure, or religious purposes. This new air link is poised to enhance the burgeoning economic ties between India and Saudi Arabia, providing seamless connections for enterprises operating in both nations.

It will also greatly benefit pilgrims heading to Mecca, with Jeddah acting as the main entry point for those participating in the Hajj and Umrah. The route promises to simplify religious journeys and foster stronger cultural bonds between the two countries. As part of India’s broader strategy to increase daily flights to the Middle East, this initiative is crucial for nurturing bilateral relations, promoting tourism, and encouraging economic exchange.
