Friday, August 23, 2024 IndiGo, a leading airline in India, received the ‘Award of Honour’ for its significant contributions to the Indian aviation sector at the Indo-US Tourism and Hospitality Summit. The Indo American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) organized the event, where Mr. Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, accepted the award from Mr.

R Venkataramani, Attorney General of India, on August 23, 2024, in New Delhi. IACC’s Tourism and Hospitality committee organized the Indo-US Tourism and Hospitality Summit to celebrate industry leaders who promote travel and tourism within India and internationally through global operations. Established in 1968, the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) serves as the premier bilateral chamber, fostering economic engagement between India and the United States.



With over 1500 members across India, IACC represents a diverse array of industries from both nations. Mr. Vinay Malhotra expressed gratitude for the recognition, stating, “We feel deeply honored to receive the Award of Honour from the Indo American Chamber of Commerce.

This accolade underscores our relentless commitment to improving accessibility, connectivity, and facilitating travel and tourism, both within India and internationally. We remain dedicated to our mission of offering affordable fares, punctual operations, and a seamless travel experience across our expansive network.” Over the past 18 years, IndiGo has established the most extensive domestic network, connecting 88 domestic and 34 international destinations across India.
