Friday, November 29, 2024 IndiGo and Air India Express to launch new flights from Bhubaneswar to Indore, Dehradun, and Kochi next year, enhancing domestic travel options. Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) is set to launch direct flights to five new destinations beginning next month. Announced on Thursday, the new services will connect Bhubaneswar to Indore with four weekly flights and Dehradun with three weekly flights, starting January 1, 2025.

IndiGo will operate these routes. Additionally, Air India Express will begin flying to Lucknow and Jaipur three times a week and to Kochi daily, starting January 3, 2025. In the flight schedule, the daily IndiGo services to Indore and Dehradun will depart from Bhubaneswar at 3:00 pm.



The authorities also revealed plans for a new Bengaluru route, launching on January 4, 2025. These flights will depart from BPIA at 6:15 am, with a return service scheduled for 12:20 am. The expansion of direct flights from BPIA will further enhance connectivity for travelers from Bhubaneswar, enabling smoother travel to popular cities across India.

The new connections are expected to boost tourism and business opportunities for the region, making it easier for passengers to access these key cities.
