However, you will be surprised to know that India’s most expensive film so far did not star any of the three Khans of Bollywood. In fact, there was not even a cameo appearance by any of them. Made on a whopping budget of Rs 600 crore, the film starred Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani in lead roles. The film boasted some top-notch VFX and high-octane action sequences portraying the backdrop of a dystopian world. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Kalki 2898 AD crossed the all-time India collection of films like Pathaan, Gadar 2, and Animal.

The film amassed over Rs 1,200 crore worldwide at the Box Office, making it the fourth highest-grossing Indian film of all time. More about.
