Azeem Indian Takeaway in Radley Road in has been given a two-star hygiene rating which is included in the latest batch of scores for the Vale of White Horse district. The takeaway was given the score following an inspection on September 25, the Food Standards Agency website shows. This means that 'some improvement is necessary' at the establishment.

The latest scores also show McDonald's in Watchfield near Shrivenham has received a five-out-of-five hygiene score meaning standards are deemed to be 'very good' at the Majors Road site. There has been further good news for Hendred Sports Club in East Hendred and the Bowyer Arms in Radley which have both received five stars for hygiene as well, the latest results show. Meanwhile, Abingdon Spice in Stert Stret in Abingdon has been handed a three-star rating which means inspectors deem hygiene to be 'generally satisfactory'.



And Around Table at Holy Trinity Church in Charlton near Wantage has been given a four-star score meaning hygiene is deemed to be 'good'. The rating shows how well the business is doing overall, based on standards found at the time of inspection. The ratings can be found online and on stickers which are displayed at business premises.

The back of the sticker and the online rating will also show the date of the inspection by the local authority’s food safety officer..
