Wednesday, October 16, 2024 IHCL partners with IIT Jammu to empower 100 youth in HVAC technology, providing specialized training to boost skills and career opportunities in hospitality. Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has formed a significant partnership with the Indian Institute of Technology Jammu (IIT Jammu) to empower and upskill young individuals in HVAC technology. This collaboration introduces a specialized training program designed to equip youth with essential skills for success in the hospitality industry.

The initiative will be conducted at IIT Jammu’s Cooling Innovation Labs, where participants will receive practical training focused on the operation and maintenance of modern HVAC systems. IHCL will sponsor 100 students, ensuring they gain access to this transformative opportunity. Scheduled to begin in November 2024, the six-month program will encompass a broad array of topics, helping participants develop the knowledge required to contribute to the hospitality sector’s growth.



IHCL operates 35 skill centers across 15 Indian states and is dedicated to training 100,000 youth by 2030 as part of its ongoing commitment to workforce development..
