Along the way, you might spot wildlife like zebras and lions! Upon arrival, Masai Warriors greet you with a traditional dance, followed by a walk across the ‘dancing bridge’ to the Fig Tree Lounge for a rosemary hibiscus drink. After a warm reception, you’ll be escorted to your tent by foot with a Masai warrior or via golf cart.

ft. of luxury, featuring a whirlpool bath, a patio with Talek River views, and both indoor and outdoor rain showers. Guests enjoy a daily restocked minibar (excluding premium liquors) and complimentary access to a Canon R-6 camera for wildlife photography.

For professional photos, an in-house expert is available for editing or guided photography, starting at $300 for half a day or $500 for a full day. Despite its remote location in the Savannah, JW Marriott Masai Mara offers an impressive range of amenities. With only 22 tents, the lodge provides golf carts, a heated pool, a gym, the JW Garden for fresh produce, and the JW Hippo Pool for wildlife viewing.

There is also a a game room with activities like chess and bead-making. The lodge boasts 11 customized Range Rovers and 22 expert guides for daily game drives. Additional activities include horse riding ($450), hot air balloon rides over the Mara ($505), and Masai village tours ($40).

Chowdhury said that though the hot air balloon experience is highly recommended but was unavailable during his stay. The menu features global cuisines, including Italian and Mexican. There’s an Indian chef who also prepares authentic Indian dishes. Meals can be packed for game drives at no extra cost, while room service incurs a $30 fee.

5 lakh. He availed Marriott’s 5th night free program using his award bookings. He shared how he earned Marriott Bonvoy points through regular spends.

“I’m not a multimillionaire. I’m a salaried employee, and I pay my taxes (auto-deducted!),” he added. Chowdhury further said that he travels a lot for work which helps him earn more points.
