IND vs AUS, 3rd Test Weather report: As India gears up to lock horns with Australia for the third Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Gabba from Saturday, the threat of rain playing a spoilsport looms large. The five-match Test series is currently leveled at 1-1, where the hosts made a brilliant comeback after losing the series opener but then won the second Test match in Adelaide in dominant fashion. Both teams will try to dominate each other but the weather conditions are expected to play a huge role in deciding the result of the much-awaited match.

The Rohit Sharma-led side is coming back to the same venue, where they scripted history in 2021 as they became the first team to have won a Test match at the Gabba after 33 years. They went on to win the match despite facing a few challenges, for instance, they were without the services of their star players Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, R Ashwin, and Mohammed Shami. They will try to repeat the 2021 heroics since their hopes of qualifying for the WTC final are at stake and if rain does play spoilsport in this match then things will only become complicated for them.

Brisbane has experienced sunny days right up to this upcoming Test match, but the weather forecast for Saturday, December 14 predicts thunderstorms. During the pre-match press conference, the Australia skipper acknowledged the possibility of the match getting interrupted by rain.
