Ahh, what a show! Based on the UK series of the same name, the US series originally starred Steve Carell as Michael Scott, regional manager of the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company's Scranton Branch. John Krasinski played Jim Halpert, a salesman and, in later seasons, assistant manager or co-manager who is known for his wittiness and his practical jokes on Dwight, played by Rainn Wilson.



Jim was always known to have feelings for receptionist Pam Beesly, who was engaged to warehouse worker Roy (David Denman). B. J.

Novak portrayed Ryan Howard, who for the first two seasons is a temporary worker but is promoted to a sales representative in the third season. There was a whole host of others who made the show what it was, and a plethora of guest stars that made it even more iconic. Let's dive in, shall we? Let's be clear: There are no bad episodes of The Office.

That said, things did start to feel tiresome in the series' final season. In this episode, the elevators are under maintenance and the office workers have to walk up the stairs, a situation everyone deems the "Stairmageddon". Exhausted after climbing the stairs, Stanley refuses to go back down in order to close a sale with one of their bigger clients.

Dwight is forced to shoot Stanley with a few bull tranquillizer darts to knock him out. Dwight and Clark then take a drugged Stanley on the sales call. Meanwhile Pam and Jim spend time talking with Nellie and Toby respectively about their marital troubles and couples counselling.

Andy meets with a talent agent named Carla Fern (Roseanne Barr). Pam and Jim's baby, Cece, gets christened and Michael invites the entire office to celebrate. Because of his feeling of being left, Michael joins a church group of high school graduates on a mission to Mexico, with Andy following along to impress Erin.

Season 8 was the first full season without Steve Carell and this episode is one where his absence is felt. Andy takes some of the office staff on a field trip to Gettysburg for inspiration. After most of the office abandons him, Darryl and Jim confront Andy and tell him that he should stop trying so hard to impress his coworkers.

Meanwhile, Robert tasks the remaining employees with coming up with a new business idea for Dunder Mifflin and becomes convinced that Kevin's simple ideas are elaborate metaphors. Introducing Papyr: Paper for women! This is an episode we might need to leave early for because some gum is stuck on our work outfit. Andy lands a role in a local production of Sweeney Todd and invites the entire office to the performance, hoping to impress Erin.

However, she offers to babysit for Jim and Pam instead, hoping to get a start in the babysitter career. While Michael struggles to put his jealousy aside in regard to not being cast in the play, Jim and Pam have trouble with their less-than-stellar babysitter. This episode follows on the of the series best episodes (Spoiler: It's within the Top 10).

Post Jim and Pam's Niagara Falls wedding, Michael meets with an insurance salesman and is convinced by Dwight and Andy that he is part of the mafia. The staff constantly call Jim and Pam on their honeymoon, until finally Kevin accidentally cancels Jim's credit card while using Jim's office as a farting room. Dwight, Michael and Andy set up a lunch meeting with the insurance salesman.

Love is in the air...

sort of. It's Valentine's Day at the office. Michael is attracted to a woman who loses a glove at a Valentine's blood drive; Cinderella-like, he tries to track her down.

The staff share their worst break-up stories and band together to host a "Lonely Hearts Party" where they root for Michael's would-be romance. Jim and Pam have lunch with Phyllis and Bob Vance, which turns awkward when they hear the Vances having sex in the bathroom. Jim hits the links with Andy and Kevin (Brian Baumgartner) to try and land his biggest client ever.

Michael, Pam, Oscar, and Darryl set up a booth at a job fair at Pam's old high school to find applicants for Dunder Mifflin's summer internship, but Michael's shenanigans produce failure. When all the other office workers duck out early, Dwight and Angela have a tense day alone in the office. Pam investigates graphic arts opportunities which may take her away from Scranton.

Robert tries to get Andy to not give his wife, Susan (Maura Tierney), a job in the office. After a confusing interview, Andy relents and gives Susan a job, and California is furious. After Susan learns the truth, she and California have a major fight.

Meanwhile, Dwight opens a gym in the building and makes Darryl join in hopes of getting other office members to follow. Andy attempts to make everyone's Christmas wishes come true. Erin, upset about her unrequited feelings for Andy, drinks too much at the Christmas party and is escorted home by California.

Meanwhile, Dwight and Jim are ordered to stop pranking one another, lest they forfeit their Christmas bonuses. Thus, they try to frame each other. By request of David Wallace, Michael and Dwight go undercover to investigate rival paper company Prince Paper.

As they are a small, family-owned operation made of an extremely nice family, Michael has a difficult time handing over their findings to Wallace. Meanwhile, the rest of the office holds a debate to settle a bizarre question: is Hilary Swank hot? The office is tied six to six when Michael off-handedly casts the winning vote for "yes". Jim and Pam return from their honeymoon and are shocked when Michael reveals he is dating Helene, Pam's mother (Linda Purl).

Pam is incensed and openly berates Michael. Dwight attempts to bug Jim's office in his plan to sabotage Jim. Dwight and Jim are shocked when they receive poor marks on their annual customer survey reports.

They learn that Kelly has sabotaged their scores for blowing off her America's Got Talent wrap party. Kelly and a sympathetic Michael relish their discomfort. Through Angela's manipulations, she and Andy book their wedding at Schrute Farms B&B.

Pam and Jim spend every minute together using their Bluetooth phones, including Jim overhearing Pam's friend Alex asking her to stay in New York. Newly fired Andy goes to a fundraiser held by Angela's husband Robert Lipton (Jack Coleman) and returns with 12 dogs. Dwight, who wants to win the entire auction, discovers that the winners must lose money.

Nellie tries to bond with Darryl and he teaches her how to properly eat a taco. Dunder Mifflin CEO David Wallace (Andy Buckley) tasks Dwight with finding a part-time replacement for Jim. Dwight in turn enlists several of his close friends, including his cousin Mose (Michael Schur).

Pam tries to find out who her new desk mate will be. Someone vandalises Pam's warehouse mural. Distraught, she seeks the help of Dwight and Nellie, who both eagerly help her track down the vandal.

Meanwhile, in their Philadelphia apartment, Darryl is uncomfortable with Jim's uncleanliness. Angela begrudgingly allows Oscar and Kevin to attend her son Phillip's first birthday party. Canada bound! Michael is ecstatic when David Wallace (Andy Buckley) decides to send him on a business trip to Canada.

Andy and Oscar accompany him and become unlikely friends when they drunk dial Angela. Although Michael makes the sale and has a one-night stand, he rebukes David for transferring Holly. Jim counts down the days until Pam gets back from art school; she fails a course but comes back to Scranton anyway.

Jim and Pam reluctantly lunch with Michael and Helene (Linda Purl) for her birthday. However, when Michael learns Helene's age, he dumps her, infuriating Pam even more. She slaps Michael in the parking lot after work.

Dwight tries to curry favors from everyone in the office to help him overthrow Jim. Let's get ethical. Following Ryan's recent scandal at corporate, Holly (Amy Ryan) must hold a business ethics seminar.

When Oscar Martinez joins a trivia contest, Andy gets the entire office involved. Eventually, the team made up of Kevin, Erin, Kelly, and Meredith wins. Meanwhile, Dwight goes to Sabre headquarters to petition California to give him a job as a regional manager.

California tries to get out of meeting with him, but eventually declines Dwight's request..
