Joanne McNally has brought followers inside her new London apartment as she revealed she was in her ‘interiors phase’ and was ‘equally thrilled and disgusted’ with herself. Last year the Dublin comic moved into her first place in London following months of touring with her comedy show, The Prosecco Express. Joanne spent some time lodging with pal and her My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast co-host Vogue Williams .

The Dublin native has been sharing glimpses of how she is turning the apartment into home, previously sharing her excitement at having a clothes rail after months of living out of her suitcase. Now the podcaster has shared more details behind the doors of her humble abode in a show and tell video shared online. Bringing followers inside her home, the spacious apartment is painted white with lots of pops of colours and designs coming via the artwork, light fixtures and other bits and bobs.

The first piece of art-work we see comes from Karen Lee Art, with Joanne explaining: ‘These are the chimney stats of Dublin . ‘Very iconic, they’re not in use anymore.’ Beside the painting was a small knife, which Joanne firstly explaining was there due to her receiving ‘a lot of delivery’ before she added: ‘There’s a lot of men who know I live here on my own.

’ Bringing followers into the living room area, Joanne pointed out that the pink two-seater was ‘the most comfortable chair you ever sat on.’ ‘I got it in Loftys Furniture,’ she revealed, adding that she has a ‘problem with measurements’ and thought the armchair would be smaller. ‘It’s absolutely ginormous.

I said I’m going to take it anyway because I’m manifesting for when I have a bigger home.’ Other pieces of art work were in the living room from Ciara O’Neill Art, while there was a number of colourful candles on the mantelpiece which Joanne noted were ‘too pretty to burn.’ Over to the bookshelves in the living area, Joanne joked that she ‘pretends’ she has read all the books.

The comic has a Michael McIntyre bobble-head doll on the shelf. ‘I have met Michael, and this is true to size, true to form,’ she joked of the bobble-head doll, ‘His head is that big on his body.’ With a host of unique bits and pieces coming from TK Maxx, Joanne showed off a quirky side table which is shaped like a large champagne cork.

In a turn of events which she branded as ‘tragic’ Joanne explained she had been planning to get a larger coffee table but the small side table fit the purpose that she needed as it’s only her in the apartment. ‘It was by side table when we did My Therapist Ghosted Me Live in Dublin. Vogue had a side table made out of money — fake money, and had this side table made out of a Champagne cork because.

.. I drink,’ she revealed.

Showing off the large white couch she purchased off Vetsak, Joanne noted she was ‘between minds whether I’d recommend’ due to the couch arriving in individual segments. ‘They only do kerbside,’ Joanne added, ‘And as a single woman living on the top floor of an apartment block, it was a sh**-show getting it in.’.
