He is set to take the stage in Jaipur on November 3, with upcoming shows in Chandigarh, Guwahati, Pune, Indore, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Lucknow, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad. In a previous interview with Mid-Day, Imtiaz recounted how he offered the titular role to Diljit, revealing that the singer-actor shared a story about his 2023 film Jodi before committing to the biographical drama. According to Imtiaz, Diljit showed him parts of Jodi and asked him to determine if he would be a suitable fit for the role in Amar Singh Chamkila .
