COLUMBIA — Williams-Brice Stadium is in line for a facelift. South Carolina’s Board of Trustees on Friday approved Phase 1 of a project that will add luxury boxes to the stadium’s West stands, and study potential improvements for the North and East stands. The project does not have a start date but the approval allows USC to hire architects and contractors to start planning.
Founders Park will have its playing surface re-named "Ray Tanner Field." The playing surface at Founders Park has been re-named "Ray Tanner Field." The BOT approved the change on Friday.
