Prayagraj : An event commemorating the International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples was organised at the department of anthropology of Allahabad University on Friday. The aim was to raise awareness about indigenous people, their culture, and their importance to the world. Various events like debate, essay, and extempore competitions were organised on the occasion.

IIT-Madras Research Park opens 1MW indigenous battery storage system IIT-Madras Research Park inaugurated a 1 MWh battery energy storage system, the first in-building stationary storage in India. Developed by the CEET, the system supports the park's 90% renewable energy usage, balancing power supply and demand. The project aims for commercial viability without relying on subsidies, with plans to expand to 5 MW storage capacity.
