ARTHUR Gourounlian was left in complete shock after his meeting with a priest. The Dancing With The Stars judge is preparing for his daughter Blu's christening and met with a priest at a church in Dublin this morning. However, Arthur was left disappointed and took to Instagram after the visit to express how "angry" he felt.
The 44-year-old sat in his car and said: "Well guys what can I say? My meeting with this particular father was very short-lived. "Having that meeting - my blood was boiling and I couldn't wait to leave that room." Arthur didn't disclose exactly what was said but it's safe to say he will not be holding his baby's baptism in that particular chuch.
The dad-of-two explained: "I'm absolutely appalled and disgusted and it's 2024. "Honestly, I feel so angry inside me - you have no idea. So that church that we were choosing.
.. thank you and goodbye.
" Arthur and his husband Brian Dowling held their first-born's christening in Straffan, Kildare, but has since moved away from the area. The celebrity choreographer told his fans why they wanted to change church saying: "We moved to Dublin so Brian and I, we thought, 'You know what, we're here - we might do it in Dublin, why not?'. "Even though Father Joe was absolutely incredible when he christened Blake.
It was stunning from beginning to end. "So we thought, 'Let's have a meeting at the church, let's see what will happen'. I filled out the form but obviously I was very naive to think that it's going to be as good as the first time.
"And yeah...
I was very naive thinking it was going to be as easy as the first time." Arthur finished off his message with a positive note saying: "But I guess you just have to pick yourself up, get out there and find another way. "We'll do it.
Blu will be christened. It's not about Brian and I. It's about Blu.
That's all I can say." This morning Arthur's spirits were much higher before the meeting as he had shared how excited he was . The celebrity choreographer smiled from ear-to-ear wearing a grey graphic t-shirt and black sunglasses and said: "Good morning gorgeous people.
Happy, happy Tuesday. "I hope you all had an amazing bank holiday weekend. We certainly did.
"And now Tati, Blu and I - we're off to meet a father for Blu's christening. "Blu is currently asleep over there. It's beautiful weather, the weather is really on our side.
