WHENEVER Meghan Markle steps out in public, her make-up is always picture perfect. Her make-up artist Daniel Martin has shared some secrets as to how he creates the Duchess of Sussex’s flawless beauty looks for events. In a clip with Allure, he broke down a look he did on Meghan as she was honoured at the 2023 Women of Vision Awards in New York City.

Meghan looked sensational as she accepted the award wearing a tight-fitting Johanna Ortiz golden dress. And it turns out the secret to her glossy lips on the night was a £25 lip mask that you can buy from Sephora. Daniel revealed: “This is my good friend Meghan.

She was wearing this beautiful golden dress. ““So I wanted to keep her skin really bronzy, really golden. She doesn't like a lot on her lips.

So I wanted to keep her lip looking really youthful. We wanted a really juicy, pretty, beautiful pink . “Prepped her lip with a Kissu mask and then we used the lip tint on top of it.

It's a look that anybody can do at home.” Daniel explained how he used the TATCHA The Kissu Lip Mask, which is a “soothing, non-sticky jelly lip mask of Japanese peach and olive-derived squalane that softens, smooths, and helps restore for visibly plump lips.” It is said to “help repair damaged lips, revitalise, and calm irritation.

” It currently boats numerous five-star reviews from customers, with one writing: “This is seriously the first product that truly moisturises my lips and lasts nearly the whole day.” Another gushed: “THIS PRODUCT!!!! Let me tell you I am a lip hydration queen and haven’t been able to put this down.” Daniel, who did the Duchess of Sussex’s make-up for her wedding day, praised his close pal for being “contemporary”.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight , Daniel said: “I feel that what she represents is now. She is contemporary. “She resonated on so many levels, because here is someone we all know.

We all have a friend that looks like her, who is marrying into this establishment that was very one way, one perspective." The renowned make-up artist said that his friend and client Meghan, 42, has changed the beauty industry for the better. He added: “I feel like globally she resonates on so many levels not only because of how she looks but who she is.

” Daniel added that he feels a certain “responsibility” to associate himself with her. He explained: “I'm very fortunate that we're authentic friends so I feel like I have to do and be as good because we're all in this together. “She gave me this incredible gift and now it's my responsibility to share that.

” Daniel is believed to have met Meghan when she was an actress working on Suits in Toronto, and he went on to visit her at Kensington Palace after her move, and attended her New York baby shower. Speaking of doing her wedding day make-up, he said: “My goal that day was just to make sure my friend felt good on her wedding day. “It wasn't about the spectacle of who she was marrying, the wedding.

I just wanted her to feel as beautiful as she did like any bride on her wedding day.” Meghan Markle stunned onlookers as she arrived at St George’s Chapel in Windsor , ahead of her nuptials to Prince Harry, in a stunning bespoke gown by Givenchy, created by British designer Clare Waight Keller. The former Suits actress chose to work with Clare Waight Keller “for her timeless and elegant aesthetic, impeccable tailoring, and relaxed demeanour”.

Meghan wanted to “highlight the success of a leading British talent who has now served as the creative head of three globally influential fashion houses – Pringle of Scotland, Chloé, and now Givenchy”. Meghan and Clare worked closely together on the design, which featured a graphic open bateau neckline that gracefully frames the shoulders and emphasises Meghan’s slender waist..
