She revealed that it was her milestone 60th birthday that prompted her to switch up her lifestyle. "I wanted people to know it was OK to be 60," she told the outlet.



"I was frustrated as a woman that I didn’t feel I could say my age [proudly]. “I decided to get as fit as possible to prove that 60 can be a beginning rather than an end, it’s a great age." She shared the steps she took to achieve this goal, pointing out that she was already reasonably fit to begin with.

Fiona's exercise background included everything from Jane Fonda workouts to charity runs.
