SPANISH cleaning products are all the rage on social media at the minute - with videos praising them racking up six-figure views. Mum-of-three Amanda Knowles has always gone for more traditional British brands, but now she's tried the trend and shared her thoughts with Fabulous. The 46-year-old Londoner has a "very busy household" between three teenagers and a "lively dog.

" "I absolutely love cleaning, you could say I'm a mega cleaning fan, which I know is a very strange sentence," Amanda tells us. "I love the satisfaction of a deep clean and the house smelling fresh. "It is so satisfying after a heavy weekend having fun to reboot everything to sparkle again.



" Read More On Cleaning In her effort maintain a sparkling house, the cleaning fanatic tried out five viral cleaning products from Spain. ASEVI FLOOR CLEANER For her first try, Amanda tested the £2.95 Asevi Floor Cleaner , which comes in a litre bottle.

"It only takes three tiny capfuls in a bucket of warm water, so already a five out of five for value," she said. "It does a super job of lifting dirt and dries without residue for a decent shine." Most read in Fabulous However, Amanda pointed out a drawback to the effective cleaning product.

"For me, the only downside was the smell, unfortunately it overrides everything else," she explained. "It is like a heavy duty commercial anti bacterial smell and the promise of ‘intense scent’ delivered - just not the scent I like." She rated the floor cleaner a four out of five, adding that anyone who likes the smell would likely award it full marks.

Overall score: 4/5. ASEVI LAUNDRY DETERGENT Next, she shared her thoughts on the £5.49 Asevi Laundry Detergent , which is advertised as lasting for 44 washes.

"This is excellent, I made sure the load was fake tan and dirt-heavy and it lifted all stains on a 59 minute 40 degree wash," Amanda said. She explained that she didn't use any additional stain remover in the load. Amanda pointed out that this is "excellent value" considering Viakal is £3.50 for 500 mililitre from Sainsbury's . "A five out of five for value, this smells like a gorgeous aftershave and lifts the grime and limescale brilliantly," she said.

"The scent lingers so it is a bonus air freshener too, so for me this is a keeper, I will be buying again." Overall score: 5/5. LOS DOS ROSAS MICROFIBRE CLOTH Next, the avid cleaner reviewed the £3.

50 Los Dos Rosas microfibre cloth . "This is a little more expensive than UK ones so, on value, it is about a 3.5," Amanda said.

"However, what it lacks in value it makes up for in brilliance, the shine on my taps. "This is a fine example of you get what you pay for, five out of five, no question." Overall score: 5/5, with a value rating of 3.

5/5. 3 BRUJAS GLASS AND MIRROR CLEANER Finally, she shared her thoughts on the £3.50 3 Brujas Glass and Mirror Cleaner , which also comes in 750 mililitre bottle.

"This is very expensive compared to our Elbow Grease and other glass cleaners so I have to say a two out of five for value," she said. "It does, however, do an amazing job and the Spanish have nailed windows, no grubby marks when the sun shines on them. "Five out of five for an excellent job just a shame it is so expensive compared to the UK products.

"They all work excellently - some are a tad pricier but I would be hard pushed to find a more gorgeous smelling whilst effective bathroom cleaner, definitely worth the splurge," she said.
