More info I’m A Celeb fans were left ecstatic when Maura Higgins finally made her entrance into the jungle on Thursday night’s show, along with Reverend Richard Coles .
Although the two are worlds apart, fans couldn’t get enough of their budding friendship on screen. The two newcomers were greeted into a ‘Junkyard’ camp, which at first they thought was going to be their worst nightmare. However, it wasn’t long before it was revealed by hosts Ant and Dec that the Junkyard wasn’t a Junkyard after all, and more of a ‘7 star camp’.
The late arrivals were ecstatic when they found out they could pull out a bed, sofa and fridge from their camp, but there was one rule, to keep their luxuries a secret from the other camp mates. Although Maura and Richard were living life in their dressing gowns, every time a celeb from main camp entered, they had to hide all their luxuries away, and pretend they were roughing it. The newcomers are even getting away with doing any trials.
Poor Melvin Odoom was seen in a challenge for cupcakes last night, covered in junk. Unbeknownst to him, Maura and Richard were sat on the level above, drinking tea and eating sandwiches, as they pretended to be going through the same pain as the Radio 1 host. Viewers have applauded ITV bosses for coming up with the segment, applauding the shows ‘funniest ever moment.
