A habit she developed in her 20s reaped rewards after decades of use. "I’ve used clear medical tape on my face since my late 20s. I’m 55 now, and I don’t have deep wrinkles," she said.

"At least, I don’t think I do." She initially relied on the tape to help with her 11 lines. "I started using it because I squint a lot due to farsightedness, and I noticed back then that the frown lines were showing between my eyebrows," she said.

Even though the taping technique is popular with skincare enthusiasts now, she explained that she came up with the idea herself in her late 20s. "I just randomly thought of it one day. There was no social media back then," she said.

She revealed that she initially started taping her face with "regular packaging tape" but had to pivot after discovering a few issues. "It was too shiny, and people at work looked at me like I was crazy and laughed at me because I often wore a piece between my eyebrows during the day. It was so obvious!" she said.

Other lifestyle changes, alongside the tape, gave her the skin she was happy with. On top of healthy diet habits, she explained that she was extremely diligent with her sunscreen application. "I'm a lifelong distance runner and weightlifter.

I don't drink, don't smoke, don't eat a lot of junk/processed food," she said.
