A WOMAN, 34, has been slammed for being ''in it for the money'' after opening up about her relationship with a man 43 years her senior. Imani, 34, and Larry, 77, have been a a couple for close to a decade - although the two love birds didn't put a label on their relationship until a couple of years in. The pair, who shared their story on YouTube channel Love Don't Judge , first matched on a dating app when Imani was looking for something more casual and she was instantly physically attracted to him from snaps.

The young woman said she had never expected to get into a serious relationship with someone significantly older than her - however, Larry, 77, proved her wrong. Chatting in the video, artist Imani said: "I found older men more attractive in general and felt he was a pretty attractive older gentlemen and then when I met him in person he did not disappoint." The loved-up pair have a 43 year age gap between them but insist this doesn't get in the way, especially since they share similar interests and their relationship has only been made stronger thanks to great communication.

Imani, who often shares glimpses into their her relationship on social media, says there is "never as dull moment" with the 77-year-old and Larry's bubbly personality means the artist is "never bored". The adorable pair love travelling together - whether that's jetting off to the influencer hotspot, Dubai, or the capital of love, Paris. They also enjoy the life of all things luxury, with Larry regularly treating his significant other to shopping sprees and fun-filled days out at the golf course.

"It has to be the most spoiled I've ever gotten," Imani added. "The most magnificent thing he treats me to is shopping trips in Paris. He rarely ever tells me no," she told Love Don't Judge.

"She is very, very grateful for everything that is done," Larry chimed in. The 34-year-old art lover claimed that whilst some may call her gold-digger, she is not in it for the money, nor acts as his house wife. "Our relationship is different, people are uncomfortable with different," Larry said.

"I cannot imagine not having her in my life." The loved-up duo, who recently got engaged in France, revealed that getting stares when they are out and about is nothing uncommon. But rather than acknowledging it, they will brush off the judgement and said that if anything, it's made their relationship even stronger.

"It's strengthened our bond," Larry said. According Larry and Imani, even those close to them were initially sceptical about their age-gap relationship, often convinced the romance wouldn't last. Luckily, there's also been heaps of support, especially from pals.

"When I go out for dinner with you and travel I realise you don't have an age gap because you communicate so well," their friend Carolina said. "She changed my life," Larry added. Imani commented: ''Larry has changed my life for the better in a lot of ways - he has done some much for me emotionally, spiritually, financially, and I have grown.

" With over 40 years between them, the couple are also aware how their age gap may affect the future. Imani opened up: "It's only natural to worry about someone's health as they get older.'' She added: "If it ever came to a time where we went our separate ways, I would date a woman, I am bisexual, no-one could compete with Larry.

" Until then, the romantics are now looking forward to planning their wedding and Larry's retirement so they can travel the world and spend quality time together..
