Illegal dumping on the sides of Gage County roads is becoming a problem. Keep Beatrice Beautiful Ashley Schnuelle Hawks said it’s frustrating. “There are a lot of options for people to get rid of the garbage in a safer and cleaner way,” she said.

“We just keep putting it out there. Keep Beatrice Beautiful is willing to provide information on resources in the community.” Schnuelle Hawks said she had received complaints of a site by the high school and recently had calls about dumping happening on Hickory Road off the side of a bridge.
