Mumbai: The second day of Indian Institute of Technology Bombay's (IIT-B) cultural festival Mood Indigo 2024, themed “Enigma of Ethnicity,” brought together a packed schedule of competitions, workshops, and performances that kept a swelling number of attendees engaged from morning to night. Workshops like Paint with Puppies, Texture Art, and Bhangra introduced hands-on creative activities to festival-goers. Participants enthusiastically explored artistic and cultural expressions, adding a personal touch to the day's events.
In the afternoon, stand-up comedian Biswa Kalyan Rath entertained the audience with his signature humour, drawing widespread laughter from a jam-packed auditorium mostly consisting of college students from across the country. Later, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya’s performance at the International Music Festival stood out, as her soulful voice and emotive lyrics resonated with the crowd. In the evening, Amit Trivedi’s session, where he discussed his musical journey in a conversation with Tarsame Mittal, provided a quieter but equally compelling moment.
Trivedi, who recounted how his career started unexpectedly one day during his class 10 board exam, shared practical advice with students on managing performance pressure, offering a glimpse into the challenges behind his success.
