An ice rink is now open for the winter. The facility in Worthing’s Steyne Gardens will be open for skaters over the age of four until February 23. Visitors can expect a café serving hot drinks and snacks and there are penguin aids available for those who are bit more uncertain on their skates.
Sessions run from 1.45pm until 9pm Monday to Friday during term time and from 10am to 9pm during weekends and school holidays. The rink is wheelchair accessible and wheelchair users can attend any sessions.
Carers skate for free. Carers may be asked for ID. Read more: Cheers and applause as city's Christmas lights switched on “We once again look forward to welcoming you to our great under-cover ice-rink to celebrate the Christmas period and ring in the new year,” organisers said.
