Friday, July 5, 2024 Beginning today, Iberia and Widerøe have launched a new interline agreement to enhance the air travel network between Spain and Norway. This collaboration introduces connections to an additional 14 Norwegian destinations, enhancing the airlines’ service offerings. The partnership will boost traffic and expand Iberia’s presence in Norway.

Iberia currently maintains a consistent schedule to Oslo with daily flights throughout the year, increasing to up to nine flights weekly in July. Bergen is served during the summer with two flights per week, and the new route to Tromsø will commence in the upcoming winter season. The new agreement facilitates access to several key Norwegian locations, which are particularly significant for tour operators and the Norwegian community living in Spain.



These include Trondheim, Orsta Volda, Forde, Sogndal, Sandane, Alesund, Molde, Kristiansund, Kristiansand, Stavanger, Haugesund, and Bodo. The goal of this partnership is to enhance the value Iberia offers its customers by providing routes to previously unavailable destinations. This cooperation between Iberia and Widerøe promises a smooth and comfortable journey for travelers, increasing both travel flexibility and destination options.
