Beautiful tributes have been paid to a young man 'who lit up every room' following his tragic death at the age of just 24. Ellis Redfearn from Farnworth died on October 11. Emergency services attended a concern for welfare call on the M61 motorway, eastbound, near to Cleggs Lane, between Farnworth and Little Hulton at around 11pm.
Tragically he died from his injuries despite efforts of the emergency services. “I will love and miss him for the rest of his life and I hope people will take this opportunity to realise that life is short and you shouldn’t miss any opportunity to tell people you love them.” Ellis attended Harper Green School. Ellis’ friend, Mia Gaffney, said: “Ellis was the light of every single room that he walked in.

” A charity football event at St James' Playing Fields in Farnworth will take place from 2.30pm to 5.30pm on Saturday, October 19, to remember Ellis.
