LUSH is known for its luxurious skincare and haircare products as well as its incredible bath bombs. So I was super excited to take away a VIP goody bag after trying out one of their new in-store parties. 8 I couldn't wait to dive into my VIP Lush goody bag Credit: THE SCOTTISH SUN 8 The Peace moisturiser is made to care for your skin at all stages of life Credit: THE SCOTTISH SUN 8 The Bouncy Castle shower jelly smelled absolutely delicious Credit: THE SCOTTISH SUN 8 We also got two pots of Let The Good Times Roll after we made it as part of the party Credit: THE SCOTTISH SUN I was invited to visit the high street beauty's biggest Scottish store on Glasgow's Buchanan Street to experience their luxurious pamper party.

It was super fun whilst also being one of the most indulgent pamper sessions I've ever experienced , with 90 minutes of winding down treatments, relaxing massages and a face mask skincare consultation - and at the end, we were each given incredible samples to try out at home. Our bag of treats included two tubs of the Let the Good Times Roll face and body cleanser that we made ourselves, their Bouncy Castle shower jelly, samples of two of their top-selling moisturisers (Peace and Celestial), their Ultrabland cleanser and their Full of Grace facial serum bar. After trying them all over the course of two weeks, I found one moisturiser to be a complete game changer, while another unique product weirded me out but smelled amazing.

It is described as a face cream that was made to care for your skin at all stages of life, leaving it feeling super soft. Its main ingredients include rose water, almond oil, oat milk, and cocoa butter - which all work to soften the surface of the skin and comfort irritated areas.

It's good for complexions that lose moisture easily because it is literally packed with softening ingredients. But I did feel like I had an extra layer of moisture on my face all day and felt like it took a little longer to really soak into my skin.

Lush's in-store party trial It was fine around the house or when I didn't have make-up on, but I would have felt cautious putting make-up on top of it without giving it plenty of time to dry. Rating: 7/10 8 I love using this buttery scrub on my arms and body Credit: THE SCOTTISH SUN Let the Good Times Roll - face and body cleanser (£12) This buttery body scrub was amazing on my skin - and it smells so delicious that you could almost eat it. It is made with maize flour, polenta, corn oil, cinnamon powder and popcorn , which creates a solid but crumbly srub.

But the moment you mix it with some water, it turns into a gentle paste with a viscosity that you can control - the more water you add, the thinner it goes. I don't like to add too much water - I prefer it to be a little thicker because I feel like it makes it work better as an exfoliator. It gently removes all the dead skin and dirt from my skin and leaves a healthy glow.

I didn't actually use it on my face, but it was incredible on my arms, chest and legs, leaving them feeling super hydrated and soft. My skin can go quite dry, so I was worried that it might make that worse, but the moment I dried up my skin was left feeling as soft as satin. I would absolutely pick this up in the store again and hate nipping in for a shower without it on the shelf! Rating: 9/10 Bouncy Castle - shower jelly (party exclusive) You can't buy the Bouncy Castle shower jelly because this product is held exclusively for those who book one of Lush's in-store parties (which I definitely recommend) .

Lush's shower jellies fascinate me - this unique one weirded me out because it looks a little strange and I expected them to just tear apart after using them but it's actually pretty sturdy. As soon as I opened the Bouncy Castle tub this intoxicating fragrance of strawberry poured out of the tub - it smelled absolutely delicious. It bounced about my hand a bit when I tried to get it out, but as soon as it touched wet skin it lathered up in seconds and left a trail of bubbly suds that left the skin soft and glowing.

I expected it to lose its shape after one use, but it still looked the same as it bounced about! Overall, it was a super fun and entertaining jelly that left the skin smelling good enough to eat - although I wouldn't go out of my way to pick a shower jelly up, I have to admit they do make shower times more entertaining and smell better than most shower gels. Rating: 7/10 8 The Celestial moisturiser is a bestseller for a reason Credit: THE SCOTTISH SUN Celestial - moisturiser (£21) Now this is a moisturiser I could buy by the gallon - it is incredibly light, soft, fast-acting and leaves my skin feeling luscious for days after one application. My skin has never felt better than after applying Celestial.

It is a simple, soothing blend of vanilla water, and organic cocoa butter with over 5 per cent almond milk, making it ideal for anyone with sensitive, dry, tight, or inflamed skin. It is packed with mild natural ingredients that help the skin barrier function and feel lovely again - it has 15 per cent almond oil, which mixed with almond milk and vanilla water soothes the complexion and supports the skin’s ability to care for itself. As I said before, I tend to have slightly drier skin, so I usually need to apply moisturiser a couple of times a day to keep it looking soft.

But one layer of Celestial and my skin was as soft as satin - I've never found anything else that works as well for my face without causing it to break out. And because it skinks in so quickly, you can feel the boost instantly - literally the moment it hits your skin. So you don't have to worry about giving your face too much time to dry.

And because you only need to use a small bit at a time and much less frequently than other moisturisers, it can last for ages. Celestial is a game changer for me - and I doubt I'll be buying any other moisturisers for my face in the future! It's a bestseller for a reason. Rating: 10/10 8 I took a while to warm up to the Ultrabland cleanser, but it's great for removing make-up Credit: THE SCOTTISH SUN Ultrabland - cleanser (£11) If three words could describe this cleanser it would be simple, gentle and effective.

Ultrabland is a delicate oil-based cleanser and is ideal for sensitive skin - but even oily and dry skin can benefit from its care. Its core ingredients include almond oil, rose water, beeswax, and honey, which all work together incredibly keeping the skin soft, cleansed and supple for life. I'll be honest, initially I wasn't totally sold on this cleanser - anything that has an oil base tends to make my skin feel a little bit greasy.

But it's actually a lot softer when I used it on my face and I felt like it worked really well to remove make-up. I always take it off with a Simple wipe first, but then I used this over my face and eyelids afterwards and it melted away shine, grime and the toughest of make-up without irritation. Just remember to wipe it all off with a damp cloth afterwards or the beeswax will make it go hard and stick to your face! Rating: 6.

5/10 'SECRET MESSAGES' A WOMAN has revealed she was left stunned when she discovered a 'secret message' on her Lush hair conditioner. Brooke splashed out on the Super Milk spray from the much-loved store after hearing about its lasting smell on social media. But she then made another discovery, after learning that the stickers on Lush products - which say which employee made them - have messages underneath.

Admitting in a TikTok video that she must have been "living under a rock", Brooke said she "never knew that", so wanted to see if it was true. Peeling back the sticker on the Super Milk spray, she saw it said "Got plant-based milk?" Brooke then went to find another Lush product to see what was under the sticker on that one. She found a shower gel from the Shrek range, and underneath the sticker it said "there's an arrow in your butt".

According to Lush themselves, the secret messages are for the person who places the stickers on the pot or bottle - so they know "exactly where to pop it". Full of Grace - facial serum (£10) This facial serum is almost like a mini-massage bar and works in the same way - you warm it in your hands and then gently massage the oils onto your face. The Full of Grace serum is packed with hydrating tropical butter, calming chamomile, and antioxidant portobello mushroom extract which keeps your skin in fantastic condition all year round.

It's so gentle and makes for a lovely, soothing treatment for your face, which helps the skin maintain its elasticity, moisture, and glow. Personally, I felt like my skin was left a little oily after using it and often felt like I had to wash my hands after applying it. I'm a sucker for anything sweet or fruity, and this serum smells more earthy with the almond oil and mushroom ingredients, so I wasn't completely one over by its scent.

Saying that - I used it on my fiance's face before bed, and he loves it and finds it super relaxing. So while it's not really something I'd pick up, it certainly has plenty of fans.
