I tried deviled-egg recipes from Alex Guarnaschelli, Rachael Ray , and Paula Deen. Deen's recipe made beautiful-looking eggs , but the pickle flavor was overpowering. Guarnaschelli's recipe used the cheapest ingredients , was easy to make, and had the best flavor.
