There's something truly delightful about capping off a family day out with a hotel stay. It not only enhances the overall experience but also saves us from the fatigue of a long drive home. Our family had a wonderful time exploring Warwick Castle, a favourite destination of ours, and we were fortunate enough to extend our visit by staying in its newest hotel.

It seamlessly blends into the environment, mirroring the appearance of a medieval long hall. The Warwick Castle Hotel offers rooms that can accommodate two adults and up to three children. Each room pays homage to the War of the Roses through rose motifs, chambers adorned with richly coloured fabrics, custom tapestries and shields.

Upon our arrival, we were welcomed by an imposing statue of a knight on horseback, which comes to life at certain intervals. This spectacle was a hit with our two children and added a touch of magic to our check-in process. The check-in went smoothly, and before we knew it, we were being escorted to our medieval-themed room via the lift.

The room was spacious and cosy, comfortably housing our family of four. The room featured bunk beds for our boys, a pullout floor bed for a potential third child, and even a travel cot. A half-wall partially separated the bunk beds from our double bed, providing us with a private space to converse once the children were asleep.

The rooms are equipped with all the usual amenities: a flat screen TV, hairdryer, and a selection of teas, coffees, biscuits and milk..
