If you’re anything like me, you’ve found that the long, arduous process of styling wet, post-shower hair has lost its spark – especially when pin-straight hair is on the roster. We’re talking having to dry with a hair dryer (let the aching arms begin) then sit, styling tools poised, for what feels like hours straightening each strand to perfection. The blood is rushing from my hands at the thought.

So, when the new Revlon One-Step Air Straight 2-in-1 Dryer & Air Straightener landed in my eyeline, I was intrigued to say the least. Revlon One-Step Air Straight 2-in-1 Dryer & Air Straightener This tool, which costs well under £100, claims to take damp, post-shower hair and make it not just dry, but straight, too, without frazzling it up. We’re talking two-in-one drying and styling using just one tool and with less damage.

This tool , which costs well under £100, claims to take damp, post-shower hair and make it not just dry, but straight, too, without frazzling it up. We’re talking two-in-one drying and styling using just one tool and with minimal damage. Throw away your other hair tools, dear readers, because this one is a game-changer.

The clever Revlon styling tool features unique air vents on one side and a ceramic, argan oil-infused tourmaline plate with teeth on the other side, working together to separate hair into small sections for faster and more even drying and straightening in one. This unique vent design works to evenly distribute concentrated airflow while maintaining 100% of your hair’s natural moisture, ensuring a glossier, healthier finish every time you style your hair. The result is hair that is straight, styled and shining with half the effort of your usual styling routine.

Utterly simple to use, the Revlon One-Step Air Straight 2-in-1 Dryer & Air Straightener features AirPauseTM Technology – a clever feature that ensures airflow is only activated when the tong handles are squeezed together, eradicating the need to continuously turn on and off the styler when separating sections. It’s also got six heat settings – four settings for damp hair and two settings for dry hair, enabling you to tailor your styling to your hair’s moisture level, thickness and desired finish. But what did I think of the new Revlon tool? As someone who would simply rather stay in bed longer than spend time styling their hair in the morning (I know, a beauty writer cardinal sin), I’m all ears when a tool comes along that promises to dry and style in one – especially when it’s affordable.

If it ain’t saving me time, then it ain’t worth mine. Not only that, but my hair is thick and naturally wavy, so when I want to go for a straight look I have to preface any styling by wrangling my hair dryer for at least 10 minutes. Following this, sectioning and straightening my masses of hair simply takes.

too. long. Therefore, I was slightly skeptical when I went to try this tool – how could one such affordable tool dry and straighten my hair quickly enough that it would allow me to sleep in and rock a sleek, straight do for the day? But, after passing a section of my hair through the tool twice (yes, just two times) and it coming out fully dry, I was sold.

This styling tool dried my sectioned hair incredibly quickly – I used the High Air setting to get my whole head from damp to dry and pretty darn straight in about five minutes. The separating teeth design also means that not only is my hair getting dry fast, but it’s remaining tangle-free throughout the process, too. The whole thing took me no more than ten minutes and I was left with really sleek, shiny and straight(!) hair that was perfectly dry without feeling dried out. Huzzah! Would I recommend the Revlon One-Step Air Straight 2-in-1 Dryer & Air Straightener ? If you’re time-poor, effort-poor and prefer sleep over hours of styling then 100% yes. In fact, I’d even recommend it to die-hard, everyday straightener users.

This thing is the real deal. A two-in-wonder (if you will). Save yourself some time and money and snap it up today.
