A BARGAIN hunter was left surprised by Dollar Tree’s dupe of a popular Neutrogena product. She sampled both skincare products on her hand before revealing the biggest difference between the two. Kylie ( @kyl13gilbert ) has garnered over 15,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares shopping hauls.

She went viral on the social media app when she compared a $1.25 product from Dollar Tree to Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel for dry skin. She held up the Neutrogena product as she revealed that it cost significantly more than Dollar Tree’s version.

“This is $18 at Walmart,” she said. Neutrogena Hydro Boost Face Moisturizer Extra Dry Skin has a 4.7-star rating out of a possible 5 at Walmart .

The brand recommends applying it to the face and neck after cleansing the skin. One shopper said the moisturizer made her skin “smooth, silky, and fresh,” while another gushed that it’s “super hydrating.” The product’s blue packaging could be mistaken for the bargain-friendly alternative sold at Dollar Tree.

Both of the products contain hyaluronic acid. “This is the B-Pure Hydrating Gel Cream,” Kylie said. “It says comparable to Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel so shall we see.

” She scooped a small amount of each product onto her hand to compare the consistency. As she showed her hand toward the camera, the B-Pure gel cream began to run down while the Neutrogena product stayed in place. “This is a lot more watery as you can tell, it’s the B-Pure,” she said.

“Final thoughts, B-Pure is a lot more watery and the smell is a little bit different. “As to how they work, I have no idea the difference.” Hyaluronic acid has moisturizing, anti-aging, and wound-healing benefits, according to Medical News Today .

The substance naturally occurs in the body but decreases with age. Many people use it in topical skincare products, dietary supplements, or injection forms to improve their skin hydration and to look youthful. Hundreds of people liked Kylie’s video and in the comment section were divided over which product they preferred.

“Glad you did this! I was going to try the Dollar Tree version,” one person said. "I just saved $1.25 sometimes you get what you pay for lol.

Thank you.” “Trust me, it’s literally the same thing,” another commented. “One has a higher concentration of hyaluronic acid, which is actually good for dry skin.

That’s the only difference.” “I’m addicted to Dollar Tree lol, I have a lot of their beauty dupes,” a third added. The product review came after TikToker Victoria Sofia ( @victoriasofia.

m ) went viral for sharing a shopping trip. She bought Native dupes for $1.25 from Dollar Tree that gave her “all the fall vibes.

” Meanwhile, Native Body Wash in the scent Pumpkin Spice Latte is $11.72 at Walmart. Victoria also said she’d hit the “jackpot” when she spotted a selection of new serums.
