Beauty advent calendar season is here, and for makeup and skincare lovers like me, these beauty bonanzas are the ultimate festive treat. While most Christmas countdowns feature 25 doors with a surprise behind each one, Cult Beauty takes it to another level every year. Cult Beauty's advent calendar doesn't just offer one item per day - it boasts an impressive 42 products, including 19 full-sized items.

This means you'll find double and even triple doors to open. Priced at £235, it offers incredible value of over £1,100, with each product costing less than £6. Considering one product alone is worth £146, there are some serious bargains to be found.

Cult Beauty offers two versions of their advent calendar. The Scent With Love option has already sold out, so I'd recommend acting fast if you want the Curated With Love calendar, which is likely to sell out soon too. The advent calendar is packed with a variety of high-end brands like Charlotte Tilbury, Sunday Riley, and Pat McGrath Labs, making it feel incredibly luxurious.

Many of these products alone are worth a significant chunk of the calendar's price. Some of the items inside, like the celeb-favourite Rich Cream from Augustinus Bader, which retails at £146, were previously out of my budget. Others, like the Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm for £23 or the travel-sized Hourglass setting powder for £22, were on my wish list but I couldn't justify buying them at full price.

What I love about this calendar is that it includes 19 full-sized products, not just samples. Personal highlights for me include the Medik8 H. E.

O Mask, a deeply hydrating overnight treatment, and the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Matte Beauty Blush Wand in 'Pink Pop'. This stunning shade adds a pop of universally flattering colour to my cheeks. Even the travel and deluxe samples are incredibly generous sizes, like the Sunday Riley C.

E. O. 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum, valued at £28, and the Gisou Honey Infused Hair Oil, worth £19.

While the calendar is undeniably packed with amazing products, there are a few things that didn't quite hit the mark for me. One thing I noticed is the lack of any fragrance items. I was hoping for a mini perfume or at least a scented body mist, but there's nothing like that included.

While there is a mini Vyrao Witchy Woo Candle, Jo Loves hand cream and Phillip Kingsley hair treatment which all smell delicious, I would have loved a travel-size perfume or rollerball to explore a new scent. I guess that's why the Scent With Love version exists - but perhaps one calendar with a mix of everything may have been better. Ready for the spoilers? The beauty box also includes full-sized products like the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Matte Beauty Blush Wand in 'Pink Pop' and Ceremonia Guava Rescue Spray.

It also features a set of Cult Beauty Hair Clips in 'Pink/White'. Deluxe sizes include LANEIGE Cream Skin Cerapeptide Toner and Moisturiser, Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta Peel Pads, 111SKIN Rose Gold Eye Mask, OUAI Scalp and Body Scrub in 'Melrose Place', L'OCCITANE Almond Milk Concentrate, Fable and Mane Saha Scalp Amla Soothing Serum, JVN Nourishing Shine Drops, and amika Soulfood Nourishing Mask.

Cult Beauty, take a bow, you've won Christmas and I don't think any other beauty gift will compare this December. However, if you are shopping around, it's also well worth taking a look at ASOS' Face + Body Advent Calendar , which offers big brand savings for a smaller price of £95..
