Bengaluru: A Bengaluru resident shared his experience at the Regional Transport Office (RTO) during a driving test that went "perfect". In a post on social media platform Reddit, the user said that he was forced to Rs 1,000 or else he would have missed out on getting a driving license. With that in mind, the Reddit user paid the amount after speaking with other standing in the line.

Upon enquiring, everyone responded that they also had paid the amount. The post engaged a number of residents from Bengaluru who said that they also had to go through the same situation for their respective works. One of the users claimed to have paid a bribe for getting a death certificate.

The incident took place at Kasturi Nagar RTO. The social media user clearly stated that the only concern was to get the licence at that moment. He wrote, “Yesterday I paid a bribe for my driving License at Kasturi Nagar RTO and I feel really bad about it.

My test went perfect(I know how to drive a car) but after the test I was told to meet a guy at the gate. The guy at the gate directly asked for 1000rs. I asked why then he said it is needed for the license process.

I was talking to a few guys earlier in the queue and asked them and all of them had paid the money.” Also Read: Bengaluru-Munich Lufthansa Flight to Have 3 Luxury Suites - Know What's Inside The Reddit user added, “ I said I had no cash to the guy he said that’s okay I can phonepe.
