1. Eating out James said the first rule is that you must be "assertive" if you want to ensure you secure service in a Spanish tapas bar. He said, unlike other cultures, it's more hands off in Spain.

He said some people are used to "attentive" staff, asking them if they require a drink top up or more food and even expect staff to kick them out of the restaurant after they've paid their bill. James revealed: "You have to be assertive about your needs, so if you want to get a drink, if you want to get the menu, or if you want to get the bill, you really have to ask for it and you have to kind of chase that waiter down."
