As votes were being tallied in the US and the picture was beginning to emerge of Donald Trump’s impending victory, a big smile was painted on the lips of Wexford woman Collette Butler. In the dark of the night, on Collette’s coffee table in her sitting room the most Irish of traditions met with some good ol’ fashioned US politics. Prayers said, a candle stood lighting next to a bobblehead figure of Donald Trump, decked out with the stars and stripes.
