Mumbai: In the upcoming episode of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 16', host Amitabh Bachchan opens up about his early struggles and the hard work that shaped his journey to stardom. The legendary actor shared a candid reflection on how his path to success was not marked by luxury, but by sheer perseverance and determination. "I also learned the roads by walking," Bachchan nostaligically remembered how he didn’t always travel by car but on foot, without even a bag.
"It’s not like I’ve only travelled by car. You at least had a bag; I didn’t even have that. When I used to go job-hunting, I would get off at the station and walk everywhere on foot.
So, I know where everything is and how to get there," he recalled. The actor, who now resides in the iconic Jalsa house, also said: "I never imagined this house (Jalsa) would one day be mine!" This heartfelt revelation came after contestant Nishant Jaiswal from Chhattisgarh, an artisan specialising in silk-making from cocoons and an aspiring IPS officer, shared his emotional journey to the 'KBC' stage. Nishant had attended the auditions multiple times but was never selected.
He recalled an unforgettable moment when he walked from Vile Parle station to Bachchan's home, carrying a small bag and a dream of sitting on the KBC hotseat. Standing outside the actor’s residence, Nishant silently prayed, "This time, please make sure to call me on KBC." Moved by Nishant's story, Bachchan reflected on his own early days, drawing a personal connec.
