Hyundai has unveiled the Initium FCEV concept. It previews its next-generation fuel-cell electric vehicle, which will debut globally in the first half of 2025. It also showcases Hyundai's new "Art of Steel" design language.
The retro aesthetics of the Initium are similar to the design language we saw on other electric concepts from the South Korean carmaker, such as the N Vision 74. Similar styling cues are also seen on production EVs from the brand, including the Ioniq 5 and the Ioniq 6. Unlike the rounded shape of the Nexo FCEV, the Initium is boxy. The squarish exterior makes it look tough. You can also see Hyundai's pixel lights all around.
