If the word wellbeing conjures up images of spa treatments and yoga, executives of Hyatt's Wellbeing Collective hope to broaden your perspective. "(Wellbeing) is about fulfillment and happiness. Whatever works for you," says Crystal Vinisse Thomas, vice president and global brand leader for luxury and lifestyle brands.

The initiative was launched last October with 30 hotels, and 55 properties currently have program content, according to T.J. Abrams, the vice president who oversees the initiative.



It dovetails with research from Skift , which shows that "luxury travel is evolving beyond traditional splurges, with adventure and experiences driving the trend." The research shows 63% of luxury travelers seek adventurous activities to enhance their luxury travel experience. Wellbeing at Hyatt means more than spa treatments and yoga.
