Kings Ripton Road, Huntingdon , is shut to traffic near the junction with Robertson Way. Police first confirmed the closure shortly after 1pm.

Drivers are being asked to use an alternative route as a result and it is currently unclear when the road is expected to reopen to drivers. A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: "Kings Ripton Road, Huntingdon closed at the junction with Robertson Way due to a fallen tree. Please use alternative route.
