AN affordable water park with both indoor and outdoor attractions is just two hours from the UK. Aquapalace in the Czech Republic is just outside the city of Prague. The 9,150sqm waterpark is the largest of its kind in central Europe.
The main Water World has 12 slides to choose from, as well as well as a 450mettr lazy river. This includes the huge Crazy Tube toboggan ride, which you can go with two mates, as well as the speedy Kamikadze where you can time your ride. Younger kids will love the pirate ship , with water cannons, and small splash zone for even smaller guests.

The pool remains at 31C too so its a great place to warm up. There is even a pool where you can practise lengths, with four lanes for beginner or experienced swimmers.
When the weather is better, there is the outdoor Wild River, an 110m rapid river ride. Most read in Family Non-water rides are at the attraction too, including a VR zone and laser show. Otherwise if you want to warm up, the on-site spa has everything from volcano saunas and herbal saunas, to steam rooms and relaxation rooms.
Salt baths, Japanese gardens, music therapy, along with two pools and two hot tubs are also included in the spa , with massages able to be booked too. And you won't go hungry, with ice cream bars, two restaurants and two pools bars, including the outdoor swim up one called Coral Bar. You can stay at the huge waterpark with an on-site four-star hotel.
Along with a number of normal rooms to choose from, there are themed suites including a "US President suite" (complete with American flag) "Rock Suite" with guitar decor and a "Pirate Suite" where kids can sleep in a pirate ship. As many as 1.2million people visited Aquapalace back in 2022, making it the most popular waterpark in the country.
It's affordable too - a one day pass costs just CZK1009 (£37) for adults or CZK700 for kids. Its cheaper if you want to stay for just three hours, with discounts for students and senior citizens. It's easy to get to Aquapalace from the UK too, with cheap flights to Prague .
EasyJet has the cheapest, with £14.99 fares from Bristol, with Ryanair 's £15.99 departing from London Stansted.
