SLIDE your way into summer with a unique waterpark experience and vast views. Mountain Creek Waterpark in Vernon, New Jersey , offers visitors the equivalent of a ski resort field of vision. The theme park is located on the grounds of the Mountain Creek ski resort, with the park itself built into the side of a ski mountain.

While it might sound like an architect's logistical nightmare, the feature proves to be a whimsical time for guests. Many of Mountain Creek's rides, such as Bombs Away and Heat Wave, are shaped directly into the mountain's ridges. Of course, visitors won't be gliding through the edges of the mountain itself, thanks to man-made slides that are there to aid and protect.

Ticketholders can, however, get closer to nature and test their limits with rides like the Canyon Cliff Jump, which dares riders to leap off mountain ledges into a pool. The ride includes two cliff platforms to jump off and a pool of refreshing water for a big splash. Not ready to make the leap of faith? Take an equally-as-thrilling dip in the Hide Tide Wavepool, which is " one of the largest pools of its kind.

" The ride includes over 450,000 gallons of water that forms endless sets of four-foot waves for an exciting body surfing experience. If you're someone who's always up for a dare, however, look no further than the Zero-G. Step into a portal at a 100-feet height, with a trapdoor release built into the ground.

Thrillseekers will accelerate down through a looping slide, with a double take on the world's tallest double loop ride on the way down. "It’s the closest you’ll get to feeling zero gravity at Mountain Creek. Zero-G is a must ride!" the park said.

Along with slides, the park also features a number of traditional theme park attractons, like its Alphine Mountain Coaster. Feel the breeze against your face as you cruise down a mountain, taking turns and twists as you enjoy the view. Families are sure to have a good time with a large assortment of kid-friendly rides, including water tube slides, interactive games, a "sprayground" and a gentle lazy river.

Large parties can even plan a special trip with private cabana rentals. Each cabana fits up to eight guests and includes access to a lounge, locker, fridge, and complimentary fruit and water. Guests will be granted a semi-private canopy tent with lounge chairs for peace and relaxation.

Tickets to Mountain Creek start at just $49.99. Dedicated fans can pick up seasonal passes for $89.

99 for unlimited access to the park for the entire 2024 season..
