A MAJOR UK city is getting a new train station as part of a massive new neighbourhood complex. Brabazon is the new development opening in Bristol on the former Filton Airfield, which was the birthplace of Concorde. And a new train station is part of the development, with the North Filton railway station.
The two-platform station will connect the destination to both Bristol Temple Meads (taking 15 minutes) and Henbury with an hourly service. It hopes to open next year, next to the 19,000-capacity YTL Bristol Arena. Metro mayor Dan Norris said: "The new train station will be crucial for helping people get to the UK’s third largest arena and get around the West of England .
