Like all good modern games, allows you to choose from a plethora of skills and abilities as you level up. But what if you spend your all important points on something you don’t want by mistake? That is where respeccing comes in. How to respec your character in Black Myth: Wukong There are two ways to respec your character in .

You can either redo your entire build all at once or you can claw back individual points to spend on something else. In the game, you can level up an ability, a stance, or a spell using Sparks. Sparks are earned by hitting certain thresholds of experience that you can earn while you play.

To earn this experience, just fight and defeat enemies and have no fear, you only lose a very small amount of experience if you die, and you never lose a Spark. You also don’t need to return to where you died to pick anything up. If you decide you want to completely undo your entire build and start again, you can visit a shrine and offer some incense, then access the Self-Advance menu.

From there, you will see your Spark count in the center of the screen, including spent and unspent Sparks. Hold F on the keyboard, Y on the Xbox controller, or Triangle on PlayStation, and you will pull back all the Sparks that you have already spent and will be able to start all over again. If you would prefer to just refund a couple of points, you can go into the individual skill, stance, or spell node that you wish to refund and hold R on the keyboard, X on the Xbox controller, or Square on PlayStation, and that will allow you to reclaim the Spark.

You can then spend the Spark on any other ability or node that you wish. There is no limit to how many times you can refund your Sparks, and it doesn’t cost anything at all to do so, which is fantastic as it really allows you to experiment with builds and figure out what is right for you. Sometimes, you might want to completely change up your build to deal with a certain boss or explore a new combat technique that is very effective against a certain type of enemy.

You can also add points to your skills anywhere in the game, you don’t need to be at a Shrine to “level up” a skill, as it were, only for the act of respeccing your points..
