Spending six hours strapped into an economy plane seat isn’t exactly fun, but certain things can make it a downright miserable experience, like having a child kick the back of your seat for the entire flight. One traveller recently experienced this during a Southwest Airlines flight from Hawaii to Las Vegas. Uncertain about what to do, she took her phone and logged into the social media platform Reddit using the airline’s in-flight Wi-Fi.
“Any kind suggestions for stopping a child kicking my seat?” she asked on a page dedicated to Southwest Airlines. The post , made one week ago, claimed the child’s “oblivious father” was sitting beside the child but didn’t do anything to stop him. “I don’t want to cause a scene but 4 hours into this and I am ready to go full tilt Karen,” the traveller wrote.
